Wow.  I cannot believe it has been so long since anybody has posted, considering all of the political events that have gone on in the past few months.

This happened while I was on vacation and keeping in touch with the world via the "Facebook News Network" or FNN.  While I am happy to hear he is deceased, I do believe that Al Queda had someone in his proverbial shoes for a long time.  Even so, it made a lot of people happy and Obama look good.

As we all know now, Moammar Gadhafi is dead.  To many, this comes after a summer of middle east protests and unrest.  While I generally thing this is great, I only hope that they have a contingency government planned in place.  Also, I can't stop thinking about what my coworker said: "With all of the civil unrest here, and in the world, is the US next?"  Gotta wonder.

I will ask you this: what are your opinions on Occupy Wall Street?

Mainly I am posting this to see if anyone on this community is still active on LJ.  But I highly encourage your opinions...

Yeah, a lot of the political groups have been quiet. Personally as a healer, and the knack of getting too passionate, I tend to avoid the news and debate when ever possible, b/c it turns me into a unpleasant person to be around.

The death of both Osama bin laden and Gadhafi: I'm not sure if I'm happy about this. Personally, if it had happened before the last election or even a little afterwards, I may have been. But my personal views and how I view life are ever changing. While I know that they had it coming, and the wheel turns, it was going to come back around eventually. I'm not happy in the "YES WE GOT'EM" Happiness.

Now Occupy Wall street. Children comes to mind. If you are going to act like children, then you should be treated as children.

The problem w/ Occupy Wall Street, as they see only Wall Street as the problem. It's not just Wall Street, it's the government that granted them the stimulus.

If unrest comes to the United States, it's going to be along time coming. The government and the media have done a fine job polarizing the American people to the point, that we are all yelling at each other, b/c "we are right" and you are obviously wrong, that no one is listening to each other.

I've talked to mainly a Democrat that honestly believes that we have to have laws to ensure that people think the way "we" want them to, and make decisions the way "we" want them to. Of course your opinion matters, but only if it agrees with mine.

When I was doing a massage once, and we were talking, I mentioned that I had lost some good friends in the last election, and the client said, "oh, were they republicans" no I'm the conservative.

I'm honestly trying to tone it down on my blog this time around. But I do have my disclaimer at the top.
